Residents between Mandurah and Falcon may have seen some marine search activity off the coast of Falcon on Wednesday afternoon.
About 1:10pm Water Police were advised that a windsurfer appeared to be getting into difficulties and was drifting out to sea.
Water Police began search operations for the windsurfer. In total Water Police received 3 calls relating to this person.
Five boats and three aircraft were deployed and searched the area from The Dawesville Cut to Silver Sands. No person in distress was located.

Water Police thanked the Department of Transport (Marine Safety), Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (Fisheries), DFES Marine Rescue Mandurah and the RAC Rescue helicopter crew for their assistance with the search.
