With the Peel Football and Netball League season being postponed due to COVID-19 many have voiced concerns over the mental health of athletes.
In an effort to help struggling athletes, the PFNL have moved their sports chaplains to online.
PFNL general manager Geoff Hiller said the service was necessary as there was lot of stress in the clubs due to COVID-19.
"Sports keep people together and helps their mental state so there is a lot of stress going on at the moment," Mr Hiller said.
"It is understandable that during these times people are feeling afraid, worried, anxious and overwhelmed by the media coverage.
"The PFNL sports chaplains understand these feelings many people may be experiencing in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak, and they would like to help."
