MACS coordinator Doreen Jones said at this time shutting down a counselling service was "clearly not helpful for those in need".
"We've been working hard to find options to continue providing support to our community and we are now proud to be able to provide telephone counselling for our clients," Ms Jones said.
"Additionally, we have the capacity to provide face-to-face counselling at a place that suits both parties, such as an open public space where clients feel they have confidentiality, and we can adhere to current guidelines regarding safe social distancing."
This service is provided on a fee-free basis but donations are accepted.
