As more restrictions are put in place to contain COVID-19, many Mandurah businesses are going above and beyond to help those in need.
The community spirit is thriving as businesses such as Vetwest and Brain Ambulance create new services to support vulnerable groups during the coronavirus pandemic.
With veterinary services being classified as essential, Vetwest practice manager Lindsay Coles says she feels privileged to be able to offer extra services during this difficult time.
"We are committed to providing options to help the elderly, immune compromised and those in isolation," Mrs Coles said.
"We are now able to offer video and phone consultations with a vet to provide peace of mind for pet owners who are unable to leave their home.
"We are also able to offer home delivery for medication and prescription foods as movement around the community reduces."
With mental health training classes being put on hold due to COVID-19, Brain Ambulance founder Deb Reveley is now offering free online videos titled, 'DEB talks' to help those struggling in isolation.
"Brain Ambulance is needed more than ever.
"DEB talks are being created to bring humour, mental health and wellness stories to people during COVID-19.
"This will bring people together with a message for the current and post-world of corona - apparently its not just a beer!"
Brain Ambulance is also developing new training, presentation and connection options daily as well as redesigning topics to meet the current needs of workplaces, the community and individuals.
With local businesses reaching out to help those in need, the Mandurah community spirit is thriving.
