Mandurah boy Dean Singh has a claim to fame any larrikin would be proud of.
He has the best junior mullet in all of Australia.
The six-year-old took out the title at Mulletfest 2020 - an anuual competition celebrating the infamous hairstyle in a small country town in New South Wales.
Dean beat out 20 other legendary mullets in his four to seven-year-old category to take the crown - which now sits atop his long luscious locks.
I like my mullet
- Dean Singh
Dean told the Mandurah Mail it "felt good" to win.
"I like my mullet," he said.
"I've been growing it for six years, I've never had a haircut.
"My friends always talk about my mullet, they like it too."
Dean's mum, Cheree Power, said her son had been wanting to enter into a mullet competition for years but most of them did not have a junior category.
The family, who are currently road tripping around Australia, decided to take the opportunity with both hands to be a part of Mulletfest while they happened to be in New South Wales.
"I'm a big fan of the mullet," Ms Power laughed.
"So many people wanted to talk to him at the festival - he was on the TV and on the front page of newspapers and so many people just at the festival stopped him to take a photo with him."
