The big heart and good will of the Peel region has once again been showcased with an impressive donation to OVIS Community Services.
Formerly Pat Thomas House, Mandurah's primary family and domestic violence service provide crisis accommodation for women and children, and are always seeking donations to run smoothly.
Earlier this year, the Quindanning/Boddington Country Women's Association (CWA) and Harvey Norman Mandurah delivered two new washing machines to use at the refuge.
After raising funds throughout 2019, the Quindanning/Boddington CWA approached Harvey Norman Mandurah in December to purchase a washing machine for OVIS.
Inspired by the act of generosity, the team at Harvey Norman Mandurah not only gave them a discount but matched the donation with another washing machine.
The washing machines will be used by clients staying at the refuge.
In a post on Facebook, OVIS Community Services said they felt "blessed".
"How lucky are our clients and what a great idea from all involved," the post read.
"Thank you."
