The Mandurah community is being called on to have their say in a "shared vision" for the city's look and feel for the future.
After more than a year of collaborative work with thousands of residents, the Mandurah Matters project has helped to shape the draft 20-Year Strategic Community Plan for 2020-2040.
It focuses on the economic, social, health and environment issues outlined as the most important areas in the Mandurah Matters project.
A fifth focus area, organisational excellence, underpins the plan, outlining how the City of Mandurah will do business.
Mandurah mayor Rhys Williams said he welcomed comments.
"We are now asking for community feedback to confirm it has captured the community's ideas and suggestions to achieve the vision, and also ask the community how they may be able to help implement to plan," he said.
"This plan will be our blueprint for achieving the vision over the next 20 years and we need the help of our residents and stakeholders to bring this aspiration and vision to life."
A number of ideas and concepts raised during the Mandurah Matters process have already been implemented such as the launch of the new Visit Mandurah brand, Relaxed by Nature.
Funding has also been secured to revitalise and develop the Mandurah Waterfront - including Smart Street Mall and the eastern and western foreshores, which will get a new skate park, play areas and an estuary pool.
The City of Mandurah has also developed a refreshed brand to reflect the community's vision and encourage residents to be proud ambassadors of the city.
The next step will be to engage stakeholders, including all levels of government, to get involved in delivering the desired outcomes for the community.

Community feedback will be open until March 4.
