One of the most successful dance shows from around the world is gearing up for two special performances in Mandurah later this year.
International dance sensation, Spirit of the Dance, will take to the stage at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre in May.
Described as "explosive" and "spectacular", the show features an exciting fusion of Irish dance combined with dance styles from around the world including Scottish, Flamenco, Latin, salsa, street dance, hip hop, techno, can can and American tap.
Spirit of the Dance has been seen by 20 million people around the world over 21 years and has won nine global awards.
Star of the show, Oliver Lewis, is the world's fastest fiddler - accredited by the Guinness Book of Records.
He has performed more than 2000 times with Spirit of the Dance since 2001 and also plays regular recitals with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Lewis' fingers are insured for US$100,000 each.
The show has been so popular, an extra matinee show has been added in Mandurah to meet overwhelming demand.
Spirit of the Dance will take to the stage at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, May 16 at 2pm and 7.30pm.
