Two men were rushed to Royal Perth Hospital after their car crashed into a tree in Secret Harbour on Sunday morning.
A 28-year-old male driver and his 26-year-old male passenger were travelling south along Warnbro Sound Avenue in a silver Ford Falcon sedan before losing control on the Anstey Road roundabout.
The vehicle left the road and crashed into the tree.
The driver was trapped before eventually being extracted by Department of Fire and Emergency Service officers.
The duo received serious injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash, or the Ford Falcon travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who may have dash-cam vision of the incident to come forward.
