Young Mandurah Magic star Olivia Bassett-Scarfe will don a black and gold uniform when she represents the state at the Under 20 Australian Basketball Championships.
The 17-year-old gun was named to the Western Australian women's side this week, and will head to Canberra as the team eyes off the national title next February.
Bassett-Scarfe, who just completed year 12 at Mandurah Catholic College, is no stranger to playing on the national level.
She's taken to the court for WA numerous times, but said she remains as excited as ever ahead of the Under 20s tournament.
"I'm pumped. This is probably the last time I'm going to get to play for WA so I was really excited to be picked," she said.
"I've been working really hard towards this so to make the team just feels awesome."
The rising star has played all of her junior basketball in Mandurah, and will be looking to crack into more State Basketball League minutes next season.
She is one of just two country-based players to be named to the side, joining Manjimup's Dana East.
Bassett-Scarfe will head to the Australian Institute of Sport to compete in the championships from Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9 next year.
