A 46-year-old Halls Head man has been charged after driving erratically in Applecross on Sunday morning.
About 8.40am on December 8, police received calls from numerous members of the public reporting that a white Ford Falcon panel van was being driven erratically along Canning Highway.
The vehicle drove on the wrong side of the road, through red traffic lights, over median strips and along a footpath.
Police attended, where they observed the vehicle travelling at low speed.
The car was stopped on Canning Highway near Wilcock Street and the Halls Head man was taken into custody.
He has been charged with reckless driving, failing to comply with a direction to stop, no authority to drive (fines suspended) and possessing a prohibited drug (Methylamphetamine).
He will appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today.
