A Toyota Hilux has smashed through the front of a Greenfields home on Friday morning, narrowly missing a nine-year-old boy who was sitting on a couch in the living room.
Police report the incident happened about 9.38am on Olinda Crescent, near the Bortolo Drive intersection.
A woman driver estimated to be in her 40s, who had two young girls in the car with her, allegedly lost control of the vehicle.
There are unconfirmed reports she was not in the vehicle at the time of impact with the house.
June Woods and Alison Sheppard said they were out the back of the impacted house and heard a loud bang.
Ms Sheppard's son Michael had been watching television in the living room and the vehicle 'narrowly missed him' by about two metres, she said.
The woman is being treated at the scene by St John's Ambulance and was seen to be bleeding from the head.
Police and emergency services are at the scene.
