Meadow Springs Christmas House

Mandurah's most festive home has again opened their doors, showcasing the magic of Christmas for Mandurah families.
Mary Kartesz-Wardroper and her husband Alan devote six months of every year to decorating their home, inside and out, with a range of festive displays, including 32 individual nativity scenes and more than 530 individual Christmas trees.
The Christmas House has won the Synergy Christmas Lights Trail People's Choice Award for the last two years in a row.

Mandurah urged to 'share the dignity'

- Where: Mandurah Bunnings stores
With Christmas quickly approaching, community members are urged to donate to Share the Dignity's It's in the Bag Christmas appeal.
All donations, including hygiene products and small luxuries, can be made to local Bunnings stores. Share the Dignity volunteers will collect the donated bags of goodies and distribute to shelters and charities, ensuring they are available for women and girls in time for Christmas.

Christmas Treasure Hunt
- Where: Mandurah Community Museum
- When: Until December 22
The City of Mandurah is hosting a free Christmas Treasure Hunt throughout December - complete the hunt and receive a prize.
The hunt will run from December 1-22. The Mandurah Community Museum is open from 10am-4pm Tuesday to Friday and 11am-3pm on the weekends.

Christmas at Mandurah Forum

Get a head start on your Christmas shopping and take advantage of a range of fun incentives, competitions and activities at the Mandurah Forum in the lead up to Christmas.
Santa's Underwater Sea Castle is open and Santa is available to discuss Christmas wish lists every day from 10am-4pm Monday to Sunday and 10am-8pm on Thursdays.

Christmas Lights Trail
- Where: Eastern Foreshore
- When: Until December 31
Those keen to soak up festive decorations while wandering around beautiful Mandurah are urged to embrace the City's latest event, the Christmas Lights Trail.
Start from either end of the eastern foreshore and take a stroll along the trail from dusk to late from throughout December.
A giant star, train, bauble and inflatable decorations and floating Christmas trees are just some of the various elements on offer.

Mandurah Traffic Bridge gets festive
- Where: Mandurah Bridge
- When: Until December 31
Mandurah's Traffic Bridge will be decked out with a Christmas themed lighting display throughout December.
People are encouraged to walk or cycle along the bridge to enjoy the lights.
Seniors Centre Christmas Party
- When: Wednesday, December 4
- Where: Mandurah Seniors and Community Centre
Celebrate another amazing year and get into the Christmas spirit at the Seniors Centre with live entertainment, a three-course meal and all sorts of festive fun.
There will be prawn cocktails, roast turkey and ham and plum pudding on the menu as well as beer and wine available to purchase.

Murray Community Christmas Celebration

- Where: Edenvale Homestead
Pinjarra's Edenvale Homestead will ring out the joyful sound of the holiday season this December as the Shire of Murray's annual Christmas Celebration returns.
The evening's festivities will commence at 5pm and will include crowd favourite carols, roving entertainment, interactive children's activities and, of course, a visit from Santa and his helpers.
Dinner is sorted with a selection of food truck offerings and local artesian goods will be available for purchase from a line-up of boutique market stalls.

Mandurah Christmas Pageant
- When: Friday, December 6
- Where: Eastern Foreshore
The city's festive community parade is a local tradition and the signature event on Mandurah's Christmas calendar.
From 6pm, bright and colourful floats featuring community groups and businesses will allow residents to experience the wonder of Christmas in their own backyard.
People are encouraged to hang around after the parade as there will be live stage entertainment, an interactive nativity scene and workshops.
At 7.30pm, families can enjoy Santa's Grotto and fireworks will be on show from 8.30pm.

Tiny Shops on Wheels

- Where: Make Place
Put the fun back into Christmas shopping while supporting local artists, makers and creators at this unique shopping experience.
Find the perfect gifts for your loved ones and meet the makers as you browse the wide range of gift ideas.
The event will boast free Christmas inspired children's activities, carols, bubbles, music, photo opportunities and plenty more.

Christmas Twilight Markets
- When: Friday, December 6, 13 and 20
- Where: Tuckey Lane
The heart of the city will transform into a magical Christmas wonderland for the first three Fridays in December to support Halo Team.
This free event will feature roaming street performers, festive craft and gift stalls, food vendors and the famous Shape Mandurah travelling piano.

Madora Bay Community Christmas Carols (December 8)

Madora Bay will come alive on December 7, for this year's bigger and better Community Christmas Carols.
Teaming up with Kingdomcity, there will be plenty of singalongs to all your favourite festive hits as well as fund to be had by the whole family.

Carols on the Foreshore

The Salvation Army's annual Christmas carols event is back, featuring the Silver Threads Band and the Voices in Harmony Choir.
There will also be a barbeque, an impromptu nativity story, some cheesy Christmas cracker jokes and, of course, lots of carols to sing.

Christmas Movies

- Where: Scott's Garage
Christmas movies are popping up at Scott's Garage for the month of December - with festive film favourites Elf, Home Alone and Love Actually to take to the big screen.
Doors will open from 6pm with the movie to start at 8pm. Get down early to secure your spot, grab some goodies from the candy bar and watch the sunset.

Compassionate Friends Christmas Memorial
- When: Sunday, December 8
- Where: South Mandurah Uniting Church
Bereaved Mandurah family and friends who have lost a loved one are invited to light candles to honor the memories of their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who left too soon.
The ceremony is held world-wide through the Compassionate Friends - a support network created for parents whose children have died.
Candles will be provided and attendees are encouraged to bring a small framed photograph of your loved one and a small plate for a shared supper.

Mandurah-Murray Motorcycle Charity Ride

- Where: From Sir Ross McLarty Oval, Pinjarra to the Western Foreshore
Now in its 28th year, the Mandurah-Murray Motorcycle Charity Ride is a much-much loved tradition in the area.
Each year during the festive season, volunteers from Mandurah-Murray Ulysses Group raise thousands of dollars and distribute food hampers to less fortunate families.
The event will commence at 9.30am at Sir Ross McLarty Oval in Pinjarra and end at Halls Park on Mandurah's western foreshore where there will be stalls and raffle prizes.

Pinjarra Christmas Carols

- Where: Pinjarra Junction Shopping Centre
Join in the Christmas spirit at Pinjarra Junction Shopping Centre as the Pinjarra Alliance Church perform all the best holiday songs.
The singalongs will be at Kid Zone, opposite The Lucky Charm Pinjarra, from 11am-1pm.
Pet photos with Santa
- When: Saturday, December 14 and Saturday, December 21
- Where: Pinjarra Junction Shopping Centre
Bring along your fur babies and snap a Santa photo of the whole family this Christmas.
Photos will be available from 10am-1pm with no bookings required.
Waroona Christmas Carols
- When: Sunday, December 15
- Where: Centennial Park
Join in the community Christmas fun at the Waroona Christmas Carols event. From 6.45pm, the Bunbury Band will make their 39th performance with all the festive favourites to sing along to.

A Celtic Christmas

Back by popular demand, the team that brought Mandurah A Taste of Ireland are bringing their seasonal production, A Celtic Christmas, to town for the very first time.
Featuring a cast of World, All Ireland & National Champion Irish dancers, alongside some of the most sought after traditional musicians from around the globe, the show tells the story of o star crossed lovers and transports the audience to a time and place where music and dance are the cornerstones of celebration.

Pet photos with Santa

Pet photography is back again this year at the Mandurah Forum from 8-9.30am on the Sunday mornings leading up to Christmas.

Intergenerational Christmas Morning

Christmas on the Boardwalk

Mandjar Square will be bustling on December 20 for an epic Christmas edition of the Mandurah Food Truck Frenzy as well as popular market stalls
From 5pm, there will be festivities, shopping, live entertainment from Sally Jane and plenty of diverse food trucks to choose from.

City of Mandurah mayor Rhys Williams said the month of Christmas offered an exciting schedule of community and family friendly events.
