Mandurah police officers attached to Operation Sky Kite have charged a Halls Head man with drug offences following a disturbance at a local hotel on Friday night.
The 19-year-old had been at a Mandurah hotel when he was asked to leave by security due to suspicious behaviour.
He allegedly created a disturbance and attempted to fight security staff off as he was being escorted from the premises.
Officers conducting high-visibility foot patrols of the Mandurah entertainment precinct as part of Operation Sky Kite arrested the suspect without further incident.
A search of the man located drugs and associated items.
Inquiries led officers to search the suspects house where further drug related items were located and seized.
The man has been charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug with Intent to sell or supply, possessing unlawfully obtained property, possessing a prohibited drug, possessing drug paraphernalia and disorderly behaviour.
He was released on bail to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on December 13, 2019.
