Authorities rush to extinguish Greenfields car fire in early hours of Saturday morning

The authorities were busy in the early hours of Saturday morning extinguishing a car fire in Greenfields.

A WA Police spokeswoman said the blaze was reported at about 4.20am, with a vehicle ablaze at a residential property on Marungi Way.

At this stage the source of the fire is unclear and it is unknown whether the circumstances around it are suspicious.

Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze as residents and neighbours looked on.
