K9 Dog Rescue are holding an adoption weekend in Mandurah, with the event starting on Friday and running through to Sunday.
It promises to be an action-packed weekend, with all available dogs half price.
The events are a good coin entry and all funds raised will go towards the rebuild of a kennel block, which is over 20 years old.
On Saturday, some of the K9 volunteers will be sleeping in the kennels with the dogs as part of Operation Sleeping Ruff, to raise funds and awareness.
K9's Janine Matthews said the group was always on the lookout for new volunteers and relied on community support.
"Our volunteers do an amazing job here at K9 Rescue looking after all of our dogs and always go above and beyond what is asked of them," she said.
"If you feel like you would like to become part of our K9 family, go to our website and down load an application form and get it back to us.
"Also, there is a more information on our Facebook page, along with a collection of photos of 'a day in the life of a K9 volunteer'.
"We are always in need of old blankets, sheets and towels; also things like Glen 20, hand sanitiser, Detol, dog treats and sardines.
"All of the hard work we do at K9 would not be possible without the support and assistance of Pet City and all our sponsors."
The events will be held at the kennels at 58 Sunshine Place in Nambeelup. Opening hours are 10am to 3pm on Friday and 1pm to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
