Aboriginal Elder and cultural advisor Koodah Cornwall has been teaching the students at Halls Head College Education Support Centre about the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal people.
Students recently visited Len Howard Reserve where they searched for and collected materials such as 'Yonga Goona' (kangaroo poo), fluff from the zamia palm, cones from the banksia trees and 'old man's beard' (seaweed from the estuary).
With these materials and using a fire stick, they made 'Kaarla' (fire).
