ADVERTISING FEATURE
Mandurah has long been a favourite destination for people over the age of 50, and those people help make this an even better place to live, so this year the libraries, museum, Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) and the Seniors and Community Centre are all getting involved.
Celebrations kick off with a bang on Friday, November 8 at the MARC launch event.
Attendees will have a chance to meet some amazing seniors, sign up for a free, seven-day centre pass and learn more about the free events during the week.
As a bonus, lunch will be provided. For the next seven days you can try classes and activities for free at MARC and the Seniors Centre.
The Seniors Centre offers free art and craft activities, dance classes, fitness classes, game clubs and lifelong learning opportunities.
There is a great opportunity to get to know some of these amazing people over morning tea during the Human Libraries sessions on Tuesday, November 12 at Lakelands Library and Community Centre or Thursday, November 14 at Mandurah Community Museum.
