Man charged with attempted murder following altercation in Mandurah

A 45-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Mandurah on Thursday night, October 17.

Police were called to a house on Forward Street around 8.45pm, where the man was allegedly assaulting a 43-year-old man that is known to him.

Officers separated the pair and arrested the alleged offender, before performing CPR on the victim, who was then rushed hospital.

The victim is currently in a critical condition in Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital.

The alleged offender will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday, October 18.
