Children and families will pack out the Eastern Foreshore this weekend for the annual Mandurah Children's Festival.
Coinciding with National Children's Week, the day of fun and entertainment will be held on Sunday, October 20 and promises something to see and do for everyone.
Explore this year's theme of 'communication' with free activities, entertainment and learning opportunities.
Highlights of the 2019 festival include free on-stage entertainment from 10am-3pm, rides and games, learning stations, family friendly activities plus delicious food vans and market stalls.
Those that are young and young at heart can explore the past and present ways to communicate with a number of interactive workshops, including making string and cup telephones, invisible ink, reading braille, postcards and emojis.
Mandurah Men's Shed will again host a stall, where children can paint a wooden toy for a gold coin donation.
Always a crowd pleaser, the dress up competition this year is also communication-themed with costumes set to be paraded on stage at 10.35am and the winners announced at 11.45am.
Register online for the chance to win some great prizes.
Children can also go in the running to win the grand prize of an iPad by participating in the free workshops and collecting stamps for their stamp card.
