Mandurah community members and service providers gathered to recognise the importance of supporting mental health on Tuesday as part of Mental Health Week.
Peel Youth Medical Service hosted the free sausage sizzle at the Peel Health Hub.
The Mandurah Mail has reported on the need for care coordinator positions to be funded at the Hub after a spokeswoman for the nine organisations said they had seen a 40 per cent increase in clients since opening in November, 2018.
Dawesville MP and Shadow WA Health Minister Zak Kirkup, who has been vocal in his support for the care coordinator role to be created, was in attendance.
