A clean, crisp, four-quarter effort is what Baldivis needs to claim a grand final win over Rockingham, according to coach Craig Hamersley.
The third-year head coach is no stranger to facing the minor premiers, having clashed with them four times already this season, and says their ability to capitalise on other sides' mistakes is something his Brumbies will need to avoid if they are to claim this year's flag.
"They (the Rams) are just so clean and so effective with how they use the ball, that if you turn it over they really punish you on the rebound," he said.
"That's something we got found out on last time we played them. We made our share of mistakes and they made us pay for them, so this time we know we need to be cleaner and give our guys a bit more of a chance.
"I think that's probably going to be crucial heading into the game, just making sure you use the ball to the best of your ability."
Baldivis' most recent encounter with Rockingham came in the semi final, where a Brumbies outfit missing their top two forwards was beaten to the tune of 29-points at Anniversary Park.
But despite what the scorecard suggests, the game was no disgrace for the losers, who were in with a chance for most of the match.
While Hamersley conceded his side was "flat" following the result, he said his side would take plenty from that semi final as they head into a rematch.
"We were definitely a little down on ourselves after that one. We did some uncharacteristic things that kind of derailed us," he said.
"But having said that, we were close for most of the game and if we clean up those errors then we're in this, so there's a bright side to look on too."
The Brumbies also look set to regain star forward Blaine Johnson, while Ben Higgs returned last week after missing the semi final clash.
The ball will be bounced for the grand final this Saturday, 2.30pm.
