Some of music's most timeless masterpieces will ring loud through the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre later this month as Morning Melodies gears up to present The Great American Songbook.
Headed to the local entertainment venue on Tuesday, August 27, the performance will be an intimate stage show featuring fan favourite hits from the golden era of American songwriting.
The show is strung together elegantly by the endearing and light-hearted banter of two of Perth's most adored jazz vocalists - Ali Bodycoat and Libby Hammer.
From Gershwin and Rodgers to Berlin and Porter, The Great American Songbook is a classic tribute to the world's favourite Tin Pan Alley gems.
Bodycoat and Hammer sing in both glorious harmony and in solo flight and are supported by the tinkling ivories of one of Perth's most respected jazz pianists.
