With only three rounds to go until finals kick off, the Peel Football and Netball League's top five became mathematically set in stone over the weekend.
Thanks to the results we now know for sure our finals participants will be Rockingham, Baldivis, Pinjarra, Centrals and Mandurah this year.
But despite that now being concrete, the ladder still somehow resembles more of a high school corridor with the amount of pushing and shoving that's about to take place.
If you've bothered to take a glance at the fixture and check out the run home, you know we're set for some well and truly epic games in the near future.
Out of our finals-bound clubs, Mandurah is the only side who will face top-five opposition just once over the coming three weeks.
That should keep their hopes of finishing in fourth spot and hosting an elimination final alive, with the fourth-placed Centrals facing a tougher run home.
But most the intrigue surrounds the top three teams.
Currently deadlocked on 12-3 records, the Rams, Brumbies and Tigers have been near impossible to split for most of the season, but these last few games could give us a solid indicator as to which team is primed for the flag.
Each face at least two top-five outfits in the coming weeks, with Baldivis set to take on three.
Rockingham currently resides on top, and look set to remain there with a win over Waroona looming likely this weekend.
But after that things get tough, with a trip to Pinjarra followed by a return home to host the Brumbies.
Win both, and you're the minor premiers, but drop even just one and you're hopes of a week off are likely out the window.
Meanwhile should Baldivis collect wins over Mandurah, Centrals and Rockingham, they're certain to head into finals as flag favourites.
Then there's the defending champs, who could finish either first or second should they win out depending on Baldivis' results.
It's almost like finals have come early this year.
