The Mandurah community came together on Friday morning for a respectful and candid Missing Persons Week service on the Eastern Foreshore.
Attended by Premier Mark McGowan, Mandurah MP David Templeman and Murray-Wellington MP Robyn Clarke, the ceremony allowed people to pay their respects to loved ones and community members that have gone missing.
Pinjarra mother Margaret Dodd spoke on the heartbreak and emotional toll of losing her daughter Hayley.
The event has been taking place since 2006.
This year, National Missing Persons Week runs from August 4 to 10.
