With round 15 rapidly approaching, it's safe to say we're well and truly into the final block of the Peel Football and Netball League's regular season.
Only four weeks remain on the fixture, and to me, this is always the most intriguing time of the year.
It's the time where finals contenders really amp up their efforts to get their best 22 on the field, an increasingly tough task in modern country footy given the demands of factors such as shift work.
But which side is going to make it all come together at the exact right time? And which side's best 22 is, well, the best?
I don't know the answers to those questions, but after watching the Rockingham Rams and seeing their line-up on the weekend, my eye is on them.
Their dismantling of Baldivis in the first two-and-a-half quarters helped them survive a scare that was always going to come from the top-placed side playing on their home deck.
But it was the make-up of their 22 that impressed the most.
I failed to spot a weak link across any phase of their game, and after tipping Baldivis earlier in the week you can believe me when I say I tried to.
Ruckman Andrew Stokes has played just four games this year, but when he's in the side it frees up Steve Kenny to have the best-on-ground performance he did, and running through the middle was Haydn Matthews, Brad Walsh, Rocky Collins and Fraser Millar.
Up front you've got Damon Cramer, Tyler Sutton, Luke Dowling and Ash Humphreys in good form, and Josh McMahon, Andrew Walsh and Travis Naughton have been excelling in the back half.
Pinjarra has crafted a pair of premierships out of simply just biding their time, finishing top three and putting their best side out on the park come finals in the past two seasons.
If the Rams can implement that same approach, with the caliber or players they have, I see no reason why they can't win the whole thing.
