The Mandurah State Emergency Service (SES) is celebrating volunteer Tania Millar's 10 years of service.
What began as a hobby blossomed into a decade-long passion, which has seen Ms Millar put in countless hours to the SES both operationally and non-operationally.
Throughout her stretch with the SES, Ms Millar has juggled her 'other' life as a single mum to four children, as well as being an active member of Mandurah Volunteer Fire Brigade and working.
Ms Millar has achieved certificates in all areas covering responsibilities from field radio operator to land search and storm damage.
She has the goal of becoming a sector commander and is actively working towards this within her SES training.
