Forecast for the rest of Friday, July 19
Maximum 19
It is tipped to be cloudy for the rest of Friday in Mandurah with an almost 100 per cent chance of showers throughout the day and a possible late thunderstorm this afternoon and evening.
Locals can expect gusty westerly winds in the afternoon and evening and possible small hail as well this evening.
Fire danger has been listed as low to moderate and sun protection has been recommended until 1.30pm with the UV index predicted to reach three, which is considered moderate.
Forecast for Saturday, July 20
Minimum 11 - Maximum 17
The weekend is expected to kick start with a partly cloudy morning and a very high, almost 90 per cent chance of showers, most likely in the early morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology is expecting up to 4 millimetres of rain to be met with a possible thunderstorm, gusty winds and possible hail in the early morning.
Winds are tipped to be southwesterly 25 to 35 kilometres per hour, tending westerly 25 to 30 kilometres per hour in the late afternoon.
Sun protection has been recommended between 12pm and 1pm with the UV index predicted to reach three, which is considered moderate.

It is looking like there will be more showers on Sunday with a cloudy day and 90 per cent chance of rain expected.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting between two and four millimetres of rain to be met with winds westerly 30 to 35 kilometres per hour tending southwesterly during the evening.
Sun protection has been recommended between 12pm and 1pm with the UV index predicted to reach three, which is considered moderate.
Forecast for Monday, July 22
Minimum 12 - Maximum 17
The rain will ease into the working week with Monday tipped to be cloudy with a 90 per cent chance of showers, most likely in the morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted only one and two millimetres of rain to be met with winds southwesterly 30 to 35 kilometres per hour tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 25 kilometres per hour during the morning, then becoming light during the day.
Sun protection has been recommended between 11.50am and 12.50pm with the UV index predicted to reach three, which is considered moderate.
