Foundation Christian College is now in its 22nd year of serving the Mandurah community, and providing Christian education to children from Kindergarten age right through to graduation in year 12.

While the college recognises the importance of providing a caring emotional and social environment, its emphasis is firmly focused on enabling its high achieving students to achieve their full potential and dreams.
College head of primary Sharon Mitchell, who has been the educational leader for 11 years, commends her primary school team for working hard to set a high academic standard.
Our assessment data evidences the fact that the longer students are enrolled in the college the better their academic achievement.
"This is the fruit of the emphasis we place on laying a strong foundation in the areas of literacy and numeracy," Ms Mitchell said.
"All of our teachers are skilled in accommodating each student's individual and unique strengths and learning style.
"With a primary enrolment approaching 300; students who require individual education plans, both to address gaps in learning and those who require extension, are well catered for.
"After all, we take seriously our need to prepare students for the next exciting phase of their learning as they journey to the middle school years 7 - 10 where the curriculum broadens out."
Enrolments for kindergarten in 2020 are being taken.
To help foster relationships with new families with young children the college has, over the past two years, facilitated the opening of a playgroup and a before and after school care service.
The college is excited to announce that to complement its educational program, they have partnered with A1Fun to provide before and after school care for busy families.
"Parents need to have the best of care for their children out of school hours and we are pleased to secure this permanent program with A1Fun," Mrs Mitchell said.
Families are the heart of the college.
Last week the College celebrated NAIDOC Week and the end of Term 2 with a Community Open Day, which attracted many college families, even though the weather threatened to rain out the event.
