A 20-year-old Port Kennedy man has pleaded guilty in court to stealing and destroying the fruit of an elderly Mandurah shopkeeper, as he was setting up his stall in Smart Street Mall.
Tyler Micheal Tann-Green pleaded guilty in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday to disorderly behaviour in public and destroying victim Salvatore Baldacchino's watermelon and stealing his apple.
The incident happened about 4am on June 15.
Tann-Green has applied for a pre-sentence program assisting people with drug problems, prior to his sentencing.
He is due to reappear in court on September 3, 2019.
Co-accused Lachlan Steven Boogaard-Mitchell, 19, did not enter a plea to three charges in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday including behaving in a disorderly manner, aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm and stealing.
He is due to reappear in court on August 9.
