A Mandurah small business owner, who lost more than $20,000 after his store was ramraided overnight, says the incident was "just another nail in the coffin".
Sportspower Mandurah owner Hayden Burbidge said the store was ransacked by two offenders wearing balaclavas, gloves and dressed in dark clothing, about 4am on Tuesday morning.
Mr Burbidge said the incident, which was caught on camera, shows the offenders gaining entry through the back of the store using a vehicle to damage the roller doors.
"These guys were no rookies - they knew what they were doing," he said.
Mr Burbidge said the offenders stole electronics including smart watches, footwear and darts.
"They went for the high-end stuff," he said.
"They have left the place in a state of chaos.
"Retail is tough as it is and this is just another nail in the coffin, another slap in the face.
"You work so hard, and this is what you get?"
He said the duo attempted to gain entry to the learning centre next door, but he believed they mistook that store for Sportspower.
Mr Burbidge said his store would be closing in the near future because they could not afford the rent, but if that was not the case, this incident would have put them out of business.
"We've been in a retail succession since the start of 2017," he said.
"Right now, in this type of economy, if we weren't closing already it would close us."
Forensic officers were conducting investigations at the store on Tuesday morning.
