Mandurah Magic star Emma Klasztorny has been named the Women's State Basketball League player of the week after a scintillating performance against the East Perth Eagles in round 15.
The gun forward has been enjoying a superb season in 2019, and tallied her biggest night yet in Mandurah's 83-53 demolition of the Eagles with a season-high 28 points to go with 17 rebounds and six steals.
Klasztorny also shot a sublime 13 of 17 from the floor for a field goal percentage of 76, while nine of her 17 rebounds came on the offensive glass giving the Magic plenty of second chances.
She was productive in the opening half with a solid 10-point contribution, but it was in the later stages of the game that she (and the Magic) was able to put East Perth to the sword.
Klasztorny tallied 18 of her points in the second half, as the Magic turned their two-point buffer at half time into a 30-point slaughter by the end of the fourth.
The performance continues her already terrific year, with Klasztorny boasting averages of nine points and 10 rebounds per game.
She and her Magic teammates return to the court this Saturday night for a clash against Perry Lakes.
