The severe weather could not dampen the spirits of the Halls Head Primary School after-school drama club, who took to the stage for their production of Belle and The Beast last Sunday.

Operating at Halls Head Primary School for seven years, the SCRIPTED drama club offers students the opportunity to take part in three full-scale stage productions every year.
SCRIPTED founder and director Sian Dhu said the first show of 2019 was a success.
"We took the favourite fairy tale and added a modern Australian twist," she said.
"Our talented actors range from six to thirteen years old, and they rehearsed after school for nearly five months to get the show ready".

SCRIPTED aims to share the arts with as many people as possible, with community members welcome to watch the show for only a $2 donation.
"It's not about making profit," Miss Dhu said.
"It's about giving as many people as possible the opportunity to experience the joy of musical theatre."
