Two people were fined in the Mandurah Magistrates Court recently for trespassing on vacant properties in town.
Phillip John Brancis, 40, was fined $400 after pleading guilty to trespassing on a Greenfields home, between May 8 and 9.
Police prosecutor Tamara Read told the court Brancis' fingerprints were found on the door and his trolley and property were inside the house.
On the same court day, Josephine Teresa Miles pleaded guilty to trespassing on a Mandurah property between May 20 and 24.
Senior Constable Read said the 46-year-old removed the lattice to gain entry.
She said Miles had told police she "needed somewhere to sleep".
Miles told the court she was sorry.
"I just got out of a coma," she said.
"I wasn't well and I was cold."
Miles was fined $600 and was ordered to pay the property owner $50 for damage.
