Mandurah's creative community have the chance to meet two famous artists next month.
Graeme Stevenson from the Colour in Your Life television show will be filming an episode locally in July, with artists and fans given the opportunity to meet him.
The event will be held at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah on July 2 at noon.
Hosted by the Mandurah Plein Air Artists and Plein Air Down Under, this free presentation will focus on the power of video marketing and is open to all artists who have an interest in promoting themselves and their art practice.
While in Mandurah, Stevenson and his crew will be filming Leon Holmes, an award-winning artist, lecturer and ambassador of plein air (outdoor) painting who specialises in the medium of oil.
Having spent a number of years in Europe refining his skills, Holmes is highly respected and regularly invited to display his work and teach at high-profile international art events in the United States, Holland, the United Kingdom, Greece and Poland.
When Stevenson started his local television eight years ago he had no idea it would lead him to travel the globe, be in front of over 100 million viewers worldwide and receive an Order of Australia Medal in 2017.
"Art and what is does for our society is incredibly important to the spirit and souls of all that see it," he said.
"I started this journey hoping to bring a little colour to the world and preserve some of the great talents out there and to be recognised for that is tremendous."
