An all-singing, all-dancing celebration of some of the most iconic music of all time is coming to Mandurah later this month.
The glitz and glamour of Puttin' on the Ritz is back by popular demand featuring a 16-strong stellar cast including six multi-talented vocalists and 10 energetic dancers, direct from London's West End.
Be sure to dig out your sequins, pop on your glad rags and remember your dancing shoes as the show glides into the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on June 27.
The soundtrack includes timeless classics by George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter including 'Cheek to Cheek', 'Alexander's Rag Time Band', 'Birth of the Blues', 'Night and Day' and 'I Got Rhythm'.
Producer David King said Puttin' on the Ritz had been a smash hit when it last toured Australia in 2017.
"Audiences loved it and we're thrilled to be able to give people another chance to enjoy a wonderful piece of musical history," he said.
Glittering costumes and slick staging, paired with well-loved songs will have audiences swooning.
Lead male singer Graham MacDuff said the show was filled with wow-moments describing it as a spectacular singing, dancing, nostalgia-filled look back to the golden age of Hollywood.
"The highlight of the show for me is singing Birth of the Blues, which is one of my favourite songs - a big Rat Pack number, I grew up listening to Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior and Dean Martin," he said.
MacDuff said he couldn't wait to visit Australia and would be celebrating his 50th birthday while in on the road in Western Australia.
"It's one of those gigs you dream about," he said.
"Come along and see this show if you want to have a few hours of pure escapism joy, a bit of nostalgia, come to the party."
Puttin' On The Ritz will take to the stage at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, June 27 at 2pm and 7.30pm.
