Prepare to immerse yourself in the golden hits that redefined a genre when the Cash Up Front - The Premiere Johnny Cash Tribute takes to the stage in Mandurah later this month.
Showcasing classic hits that have remained popular with generations for decades as well as unrevealed bonus material, the performance will wow audiences at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on June 21.
Cash's incredible career is brought to life by country musician Danny Stain alongside special guests Bonnie Kellett as June Carter as well as the Tennessee Two.
Stain has previously played the role of Ritchie Valens in the smash hit production of Buddy's Back - The Buddy Holly Show.
The chart-topping artist said the show will take audiences on a journey and feature fan-favourite songs including 'Folsom Prison Blues', 'Ring of Fire', 'I walk the Line' and 'Home of the Blues'.
"They're going to hear all of Johnny Cash's hits, stuff from the Sun Record's era as well and also songs and some things that have been previously unreleased like some bonus material - it's pretty cool," he said.
"I always loved Johnny Cash as a storyteller and as a songwriter, being a songwriter myself.
"His music is so original compared to a lot of other country music styles - most country songs follow a formula but his songs just go the way Johnny Cash songs go, he has his own genre."

Stain said being joined by Kellett on stage to celebrate the famous duets of Cash and Carter added something extra to the show.
"Bonnie sings all the June parts, the parts of Johnny's wife and she also sings some of the bonus material," he said.
"We recreate the energy of the couple in songs like 'Jackson' and 'It Ain't me Babe'.
"We've been doing the show, touring nationally, for a little while but its our first time bringing it to Perth which is really cool."
Cash Up Front - The Premiere Johnny Cash Tribute will play at MPAC on Friday, June 21 at 8pm. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit the MPAC website or call the Box Office on 9550 3900.
