'Disturbing': Coodanup cat owners warned after cruelty reports

Mandurah cat owners have been warned after two cats returned to their Coodanup home last night with burns.

RSPCA WA warned residents on social media of the "disturbing" cruelty reports near Foster Road, Hovea Place and Erica Street.

The spokesperson said the cats had survived and were recovering.

"RSPCA WA urges everyone with pets in this area to remain vigilant about where their pets are, especially after dark," the post said.

If anyone has seen or heard anything suspicious in this area last night, report it immediately to the RSPCA Cruelty Hotline on 1300 CRUELTY (278 358).
