Mandurah Detectives are seeking information from the public after a man allegedly led police on a dangerous pursuit through a number of Mandurah suburbs on Friday afternoon.
Police allege about 11.30 am, officers attempted to stop a White Mitsubishi Pajero that was stolen from an address on Balwina Road, Greenfields.
The Mitsubishi was pursued by several police cars and the air wing division.
In the ensuing chase, police say the driver drove through five fences before going over a stinger device on Ranceby Avenue. Despite this, the vehicle made it into the Mandurah Forum underground car park.
It is alleged that reckless driving led to the Mitsubishi clipping a member of the public's vehicle, damaging a mirror, before it collided with a police car.
The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to Peel Health Campus.
A 28-year-old man from Coodanup has been charged with a number of offences including driving recklessly, criminal damage, trespass and endangering the life, health or safety of a person.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, May 18 2019.
Mandurah Detectives are asking for anyone with information, in particular, anyone whose vehicle was struck by the stolen vehicle during the evade police incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
