The Atrium Hotel has become the first in Western Australia to permanently offer accommodation for furry friends.
Now taking bookings for guests and their lucky pooches, the hotel's pet-friendly policy will start on a permanent basis from June 1.
It comes after the hotel ran a two-week trial in April to see how guests would react to bringing the fur baby along for a family holiday.
As part of the trial, the hotel allocated the entire fourth floor to guests and their pups under 20 kilograms.
In an interview with the Mandurah Mail, Atrium marketing manager Jacob Goodlich said the trial had been a "great success".
"It was fantastic to have that bright and fun energy around the hotel," he said.
"The response from the public was incredible.
"We had the pleasure of getting to know some of our patrons who were so touched to be able to bring their fur babies along for their holiday.
"I think we underestimated the positive emotional impact and comfort that bringing along your pet can have when travelling."

Atrium Hotel have made a couple of changes to the policy after the trial, limiting the number of rooms for pet bookings throughout the hotel.
From June 1, only 10 of the hotel's 117 rooms will be designated to furry friends instead of the entire fourth floor.
Mr Goodlich said the pet policy was not only good for guests but had also improved business at the hotel.
"We had a significant amount of public exposure and consequentially bookings during this brief two week period, and it was smooth sailing," he said.
"Quite frankly it was a marketers dream come true."
