Murphy's welcome back soul and blues duo Lez Karski and Billy Neal

Put on your dancing shoes Mandurah - Murphys Irish Pub are preparing to welcome back legendary blues duo Lez Karski and Billy Driving Wheel Neal this weekend.

Back by popular demand, the Aussie soul legends will once again join forces to perform another impressive and unrivaled show on Sunday, May 5 from 5.30pm.

Karski is an ex-member of, and the unique vocal and guitar style behind successful blues and roots band Bondi Cigars.

He is also the engaging sound behind the local and South Australian bands The Hippos, Foreday Riders, The Donkeys and Nervous Investors.

Karski has made a name for himself as a "top shelf" Aussie blues and soul player, with a hint of country "for good measure".

Joining him on stage will be world saxophonist extraordinaire, Billy Neal.

The charismatic Perth blues singer and musician is a regular feature on the international tour circuit and at the Chicago All Souls festival.

He has also worked with English violinist Nigel Kennedy, produced three albums with the late, great guitarist Jarek Smietana and performed for the Royals on a number of occasions.

It will be Neal's last band gig in Australia for three months as he heads off to tour and record a new album in Europe in June.

The duo will play with Paul Myers on bass and Tony King on drums.

The band said they are excited to play together yet again, share stories and perform for WA blues fans.

The show is described as "blues at its best" with foot-tapping songs from Karski's many bands, hits from Neal's most recent albums as well as some classic guitar-driven dancing blues fun from the likes of Willie Dixon, Eric Bibb, Anne Peebles and Magic Sam.
