Peel's local MPs have toasted to a successful 2019 Youth Week, which celebrated the region's young people at a range of fun-filled events.
Mandurah MP David Templeman and Murray-Wellington MP Robyn Clarke both agreed that celebrating young people was important for the whole community.
The state government gave $5000 to Peel to assist with their Youth Week celebrations, which ran from April 13-20.
The funding was given to the Shires of Waroona, Murray, and Boddington.
In total state-wide, $60,000 was presented through their grants program. That funding went towards 50 separate events and activities.
