A Beaconsfield man has been sentenced to four years in jail after a violent bricking attack against a couple in Mandurah on Anzac Day last year.
Alexander Warrell was with a group of three other men who set upon the couple about 1.30pm in Smart Street Mall.
A victim was hit in the head with a brick from behind as she tried to protect her boyfriend.
"The footage speaks for itself, you used bricks as weapons. It was a cowardly attack," Judge Bruce Goetze said during sentencing.

"You approached her from behind, she was out cold and unconscious before she even hit the ground."
The woman's skull was fractured during the violent attack and just moments earlier her boyfriend was also hit in the head after three attempts with the same weapon.
He required staples to the deep gash on his head.
The court was told Warrell had been drinking heavily with his mates for six hours prior to the attack.
The 20-year-old claimed he couldn't remember due to his level of intoxication.
Warrell's accomplices have already been sentenced.
In January, Jayden Christopher Vynuchall-Larratt, 24, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for his involvement.
Travis Hugh Payne was sentenced to an eight-month term in December for punching the male victim during the attack.
A 20-year-old Kelmscott man received a $1000 fine for common assault.
Warrell will be eligible for parole after two years and, with time already served, he could be released as early as next year.
