The Hong Kong under 21s national netball team made a pit stop in Mandurah over the Easter long weekend for a couple of scratch matches against local Peel Football and Netball League (PFNL) teams.
The squad of 13 plus their band of coaches, managers and supporters landed in Australia last week for a number of tournaments and competitions across the state as part of their visit.
Their itinerary included two days of competition against the Pinjarra, Halls Head and South Mandurah Football and Netball clubs.
The PFNL teams pulled some of their best players from across all four divisions of netball in the hopes of taking home a win against a national side.
Hong Kong went up against Pinjarra and Halls Head at the Halls Head Recreation Centre on Good Friday before taking on South Mandurah in two rounds on Saturday, April 20.

The national team worked hard for a win against the Lightening, 41-33, while the Tigers bagged a comfortable victory, 32-22.
Pinjarra's Alisha Ward and Jedda Salmon received special mentions for their outstanding performances on the day in what the club described as an "awesome experience".
It was a mixed bag of results on Saturday with a close win for the Falcons in the first game, 33-28, and a narrow loss to the Hong Kong side in a nail-biting second round, 29-30.
South Mandurah Falcons head coach Naomi Pannell said it was great to have so many clubs and players get involved in the unique opportunity to see how netball was played elsewhere in the world.
"The Hong Kong team we're agile yet humble and an absolute pleasure to play against," she said.
"We had some fantastic games incorporating players from all four of our Falcons divisions of netball, playing together.
"It was inspiring to see our league and reserves players guiding the [young ones] resulting in some awesome connections down the court and multiple turnovers in defence."
