Mandurah boxing duo Tyler Naidoo and Bryce Savell punched their way to a pair of State Novice Championships at the Yugal Club in Leederville last month.
The two locals blazed their way through multiple fights on their path to the state titles.
Naidoo, 21, worked his way through three bouts before he was able to claim the 69kg division championship on a points decision.
His victory in the final improves his record to a perfect 7-0 to start his boxing tenure, and secures his first state title.
Meanwhile Savell, 29, fought two bouts before securing his championship in the 91kg division.
The pair both train under local boxing legend Danny Heyes out of Fighter Fit Mandurah, with the coach saying he was ecstatic with their efforts.
"We were buzzing, the whole gym was buzzing with how they went about their fights," he said.
"They both train so meticulously hard, and you see all the work they put in to get to where they are.
"We've got a quote in the gym that says 'train hard to make the fight easy, don't train easy to make the fight hard' and they're both really good examples of that.
"We're stoked for them to be state champions."
