Youth Jam celebrates in Mandurah
A live DJ, food trucks and plenty of giveaways, Mandurah's young people will be in for a treat this month when Youth Jam comes to the city.
The event will be held on April 13 and forms part of Youth Week WA and is designed to celebrate local young people.
Community members between 11-25 years old are invited join in with archery tag, skate and scooter competitions, game vaults and professional demonstrations.
West Coast Fever in Mandurah
The West Coast Fever will host Melbourne Vixens when welcome the Suncorp Super Netball season to town for a pre-season clash on Saturday, April 13.
Fresh off the back of the club's first ever grand final appearance in 2018, the Fever will hit the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre for the second straight year as they prepare for the new campaign.

Blessing of the roads 2019
With the Easter long weekend approaching and many of us planning to travel, motorists have been reminded to take care on the roads.
The City of Mandurah is once again joining forces with RoadWise to promote the Blessing of the Roads campaign.
The Blessing of the Roads Ceremony will take place at Christ's Church Anglican Parish of Mandurah on Sunday, April 14 at 9.30am.
Jay Hoad's tunes return to the Peel
Much-loved roots musician Jay Hoad will bring his unique sound back to the Peel region this weekend with a special performance at Redcliffe on the Murray as part of his new album launch.
Hoad will perform at Redcliffe on the Murray on April 14 from 3pm as part of his WA dates before he heads back to Europe for the summer where he will play at some of the biggest festivals on the continent, including WOMAD in the United Kingdom.
