The Peel Zonta Club say a recent meeting focusing on solutions to family and domestic violence was a success, with over 60 people in attendance.
The event, 'Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow' was held at the Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club on March 23.
Peel Zonta Club member Wendy Kirkby said the club was fortunate to hear presentations from influential Zonta members including international director Judy Gorton, district governor Jane Adornetto and leutenant governor Sandra Burns.

Murray-Wellington MP Robyn Clarke represented Minister for the Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Simone McGurk, providing an overview of the state's plans to tackle the prominent issue.
Linda Higgi also gave an insight into the issue as manager of the Department of Communities.
