The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is gearing up for another action-packed Splash! kids school holiday program.
Featuring family-friendly performances and activities, there is plenty to choose from this April.
The cafe will be open each day there are activities with light lunches, cakes and drinks available for purchase.

CATCH!

An action-packed, interactive adventure, CATCH! is a fun-filled theatre experience for the whole family to enjoy.
Aimed at children over three years old, the 50 minute session uses balls and play to tell a story about making friends and overcoming fears.
Circus, theatre and puppetry meet in this high energy, playful and imaginative take on all things sporty. The cast jump, roll, bounce and throw as they learn to 'look before they leap' while 'having a ball'.

Circus Workshops
- When: various times from Monday, April 15 to Thursday, April 18

Back by popular demand, there is plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and have loads of fun at the upcoming circus workshops.
Run by Pulse Productions Inc, there are general, aerials, juggling and acro-balance workshops that teach confidence and concentration, build team work and communication and are run in a safe environment.
Recommended for children aged seven years and older, the cost is $15 per workshop or book all four workshops on the same day for $45.

Sewing workshops
- When: Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24 from 10am-2pm

Everyone is invited to get creative and make something beautiful for the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre at this sewing workshop.
From little ones to grandparents, there will be plenty of tips and tricks on basic sewing stitches and designs.
There will be pre-cut circles of felt, threads and plastic needles for everyone to complete their own hand sewing activity. Each piece will then be stitched to a circular banner to create a large piece of community art.

Wearable Art masquerade workshops
- When: Wednesday, April 24 10am-12.30pm (6-8 years old) and 1.30-3pm (9+ years old)

Get the kids involved in the magical experience of creating wearable art, focusing on masks, with this engaging and inspiring workshop.
Led by teacher Jodie Davidson, a variety of materials will be offered so young designers can be truly inventive with their ideas.
The workshop encourages children to get creative and use new ideas and experiences to help them realise their potential.
