To recognise the significance of Harmony Day, Carcoola Primary School have celebrated the cultures of neighbouring Asian countries.
This year, each class focused on a country which allowed for students to be exposed to different cultures in a variety of ways. According to organisers, this reinforced the Harmony Day message of "Everyone Belongs".

The day saw students wearing Harmony Day colours red, yellow or orange and staff dressing in an Asian country dress.
Anglicare supported the day financially by purchasing ingredients for cooking traditional Asian food and through assisting in the classrooms.
Floating boats, Vietnamese hats, wind socks, Japanese fans and an array of delicious food culminated in a successful Harmony Day with an important message being received.
Harmony Day is a national event that is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
