Faces from around the Peel Football and Netball League gathered at Rushton Park to officially cut the ribbon on season 2019 on Monday night.
Players, coaches, umpires, life members and officials from both the football and netball sectors came together for the league's season launch, which honoured its valued volunteers ahead of the new year while welcoming new clubs Secret Harbour and North Mandurah.
More PFNL:
Both clubs will compete in the league's inaugural second division campaign, while the PFNL will also expand its netball and women's football programs.
Capping off the night was the induction of Waroona Football Club legend Jasan Hysen to the league's hall of fame.
Hysen played over 300 league games for the Demons, and won a flag with the group in 2009.
The Peel Football and Netball League season kicks off next month, with its opening games to be played on Saturday, April 6.
